Brian Gallagher unveils stunning Mackintosh models
Brian Gallagher officially unveiled the specially commissioned pieces at the University of Glasgow’s Hunterian Art Gallery earlier this month for the new exhibition which opens later this week.
The six models form part of The Hunterian’s special exhibition, Mackintosh Architecture, and realise in three dimensions six unbuilt projects by Mackintosh for an artist’s house in the town, an artist’s house in the country, three proposals for a gate lodge, and an unidentified house in Kilmacolm.

“Mackintosh buildings are unique so they take a lot of time to put together.
“On one building I counted that only six windows were the same so it’s quite a challenge for me but I love it.”
