Lanark dad’s surprise marathon gift to his daughter
Gazette readers will be familiar with the Armadale Road resident’s fine charity running record, having raised £15,000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust by taking part in seven London Marathons.

“I told them that I’d already entered and was doing it again for their charity.
“They then asked if I knew of anyone else who’d like to take part for the Trust – so I gave them Eilidh’s name!”
And Wendy Kerr, who works at the market, has also signed up now.
