“We didn’t want to carry connotoations of the history of the OJ Simpson case. As a child my nickname was always Nicky, so that seemed like an obvious alternative. We just changed the spelling to further prevent confusion and make it unique and funky.”
Despite her tender years Nycki has built up a remarkable amount of showbiz experience, which has seen her appear in this newspaper on several occasions.
She has been training in performance arts since she was just four years old, and her obvious talent took her to the United States, where she came within arm’s reach of a being hired as a TV presenter for Disney – the same break that gave the world Britney Spears.
