Rev George Shand starts in Symington
MOVING to Symington to become minister of a knot of rural Clydesdale parishes is a massive change for the Rev George Shand.
For his last post was as the Church of Scotland’s minister in Jerusalem.
He spent five years in the Holy Land looking after a small local congregation but working in the wider Occupied Palestinian Territories and with a patch that included the Gaza strip.
