Bearsden restaurant in running for top food award
The eaterie in Hillfoot is one of 36 finalists from across the country, and one of only eight representing the south west region to be in with a chance of lifting the coveted title this year.
The awards - now in their third year, will brings together the ver best from across the industry at the final in The Crowne Plaza, Glasgow for a black tie ceremony on August 15.

Hide AdThe awards aim to recognise the hard work and efforts of the Scottish food industry. Accolades include restaurants, takeaways, gastro pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as shine the spotlight on the wonderful local producers who supply their delicious ingredients.
Irfan Younis of event organisers Creative Oceanic, said: “There has been a tremendous amount of nominations received from the Scottish public. It is a testament to the hard work of all those working within the food industry. With strong competition this year, we are looking forward to welcoming those who make us wonderful dishes and offer fantastic service.
