Carluke mum Stacy Thomson pleads for heart donor
Stacy Thomson (31) rang the Gazette from her hospital bed in the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank having suffered a cardiac arrest last Friday night.
And in the wake of National Transplant Week, which was held from July 7 to 13, Stacy, who lives in Sauchiesmoor Road with husband Ross and children Carla (13) and 10-year-old Aidan, appealed for more people to sign up.

Hide AdStacy said: “I have had heart problems for the past five years but because of the problems I’ve had over the last few days I’m just playing a waiting game. I was diagnosed with Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) which came as a complete shock but it was kept stable.
“However, when I came into hospital two weeks ago to run a series of tests I was kept in.
“My husband and my kids are being put up in a nearby hotel.”
