Children 'refuse to use toilets' at Milngavie Primary
They now aim to have the refurbishment carried out over the summer holidays.
However a grandparent has complained about the state of the toilets at the school and says they need to be improved urgently because children are refusing to use them all day.

She says the toilets are old, dilapidated and not fit for purpose.
Thomas Glen, depute chief executive of East Dunbartonshire Council’s place, neighbourhood and corporate assets, said: “As part of a formal tender process, we invited bids for this work with the aim that all toilet cubicles, wash hand basins, toilet cubicles, vanity units and flooring would be replaced during the Easterholidays.
“We followed all required legal and procurement procedures and the tenders returned were non-compliant leading to a necessary delay.
