Cosgrove Care launches upcycling project
COSGROVE Care has announced a new project setting up stall at its two southside charity shops.
The Giffnock-based learning disability charity is expanding its supported employment project — educating and training young adults with learning difficulties to enter the world of work — to include a furniture restoration project.
Cosgrove will be upcycling furniture donated to its Shawlands shops, sanding varnishing and painting items before selling them on.
Volunteers with experience in the field are needed — anyone interested is asked to contact Derek Brown on 632 1441.
