Man tricked his way into OAP's home
Andrew Neill is now in custody awaiting sentence at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
The incident happened at a house in Glenburn Crescent, Viewpark, on Saturday, November 19.

Hide AdNeill (22) is from Viewpark but gave his current address as the homeless unit in Airth Court, Motherwell.
He admitted charges of threatening or abusive behaviour and theft.
The court heard Neill “obtained entry under false pretences” by claiming he was a relative of the woman, who is in her 70s. He refused to leave, claimed he had done work for her and shouted abuse and threats. He also stole a number of payment cards from the woman.
Sheriff Thomas Millar heard Neill had been given bail on other matters at the same court twice in the last two months.

Hide AdHe served a six-month sentence in 2014 for housebreakings and also has convictions for theft and threatening behaviour.
Sheriff Millar deferred sentence until December 19 and Neill was remanded in custody.
