Hide AdCouncillor Paul Kelly, depute leader, said: “Although the council does not own the Ravenscraig site, we feel it’s vital the community have a say on what they would like.
“For years we have been trying hard to develop the site, but have met with many setbacks either through court cases or the recession.
“The review is timely, as changes within the Scottish economy may offer opportunities to influence the thinking around the masterplan and investment programme.
“It’s important that local communities participate and have a voice and I’d encourage people to come along and share their views.”
