FAI into Natasha Paton death starts at Lanark Sheriff Court
The first day of the month-long inquiry at Lanark Sheriff Court on Thursday also heard that none of the 38 surviving Grammar pupils who were on the coach on the day of the tragedy, March 30, 2010, will be called to give evidence either.
This means that, of the survivors, only five teachers will be called into the witness box.

A solicitor for Mr Munro told the Inquiry that his client now had no recollection of ever giving the journalist such an interview and any production of the article as evidence at the probe would be legally challenged by him.
The Inquiry will resume on November 20 with a personal visit by Sheriff Nikola Stewart and the solicitors representing the various interested parties to the crash site near Wiston.
