Find out about the new Bearsden Hub and Kilmardinny House
East Dunbartonshire Council officers and representatives from EDLC Trust will be on hand to answer questions at a meeting in Bearsden Primary School on Wednesday, October 26 from 5-8pm.
Work is well underway on both projects which will see nearly £6m of investment within Bearsden.

Hide AdThe Community Hub will bring East Dunbartonshire Council, library, leisure and cultural services under one roof while Kilmardinny House is being transformed into a new venue for East Dunbartonshire - supporting local conferences, weddings, arts and other events.
A drop-in awareness session has been organised for anyone who would like to find out more about the type of facilities they will offer.
Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be available.
Councillor Rhondda Geekie, Leader of East Dunbartonshire Council, said: “The new Hub will bring together a wide range of council services under one roof.
“The transformation of Kilmardinny House will allow us to continue supporting the diverse range of arts, culture and leisure services the house is renowned for, while making it even more popular as a venue for
events, weddings and conferences.”

Hide AdThe new Community Hub, in the Burgh Hall on Drymen Road, will include the re-provisioning of the library and community archives from Brookwood as well as enhancing the current hall facilities.
The new facility will also contain meeting rooms and social work facilities, new public toilets and an entire
upgrade of the current accommodation.
The Kilmardinny House project includes the creation of a new garden pavilion extension, which will provide a modern, flexible space and enhance the venue as a centre for local arts, performance and community groups.
It will be able to accommodate a range of activities, including performances, exhibitions, conferences and weddings.
The existing Category A-listed House will be partially refurbished, both inside and out, including redecoration and some repairs to external stonework and windows.
