Free fitness sessions for the elderly
British Military Fitness (BMF), a leading organisation in outdoor fitness, is encouraging the older generation of Glasgow to come down to Rouken Glen Park for a free outdoor fitness session this weekend (October 3 and 4) to celebrate National Grandparents Day.
With exercise an integral part of physical and mental health, British Military Fitness is hoping the free sessions will encourage older people to reap the rewards of an active lifestyle and become a Senior ‘Fitizen’.

And the number of its senior members in Glasgow is on the rise, showing an encouraging trend and unprecedented demand for new and accessible forms of exercise for the older generation.
