Hundreds show up for Moira’s Run
Businesswoman Moira was attacked in the park in May 2008.
Moira’s family and the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit organised the 5k run, in Queen’s Park, to raise cash for the Moira Fund, which supports victims’ families.
Mora’s mother, Bea, spoke at the event and told how her daughter had touched so many people’s lives.

Hide AdShe said: “When she died, all her friends and colleagues wrote wonderful things about her and one of them sticks in my mind today.
“It said: ‘Always warm and smiling, Moira was a magnet for goodwill.’
“From the bottom of our heart, on behalf of Moira’s family and the Moira Fund, I thank you all for showing us today that not only was Moira a magnet for goodwill, but she still is.”
Marek Harcar, a Slovakian, was jailed for at least 25 years after being found guilty of raping and murdering Moira.
