Nursery facing closure
North Lanarkshire Council wants to replace it with a new facility at St Lucy's Primary, claiming it will enhance nursery provision and make it easier for youngsters to adapt to primary education.
It will also save the council more than 100,000 at a time when it needs to make huge savings. A public consultation is ongoing until November.
