Trainspotters needed for Clydesdale rail service!
ScotRail insists that it went through all the proper, statutory consultations before the December switch of local trains from the Glasgow Low Level to High Level line.
But many of those attending last week’s public meeting in Lanark’s Memorial Hall expressed anger that they’d been given little if any warning of the changes, never mind asked their opinion.

Hide AdNow Clydesdale MSP Aileen Campbell is looking into the formation of a Public Transport Partnership in Clydesdale to constantly monitor changes and performace of not only local rail but bus services too.
In the wake of last week’s meeting local politicians have called for far more public consultation before major timetable changes, possibly at the end of next year.
The consensus is that, despite recent changes being unpopular, locals are likely stuck with them.
