Transport Minister to attend public meeting in Cumbernauld
Broadwood Stadium is the venue for the meeting which follows a recent timetable shakeup by First buses earlier this year.
The company has been accused of cutting Cumbernauld off from Glasgow after some services were shelved including the X80 and X4.

Hide AdHolyrood’s Keith Brown has confirmed that he will speak at the meeting which has been organised by MP Gregg McClymont. MSP Mark Griffin will also attend.
They will discuss the former Labour leader’s Bus regulation Bill. All are calling on the Scottish Government to protect vital routes and strengthen regulation in the Scottish bus industry.
Although First were invited to attend the meeting, they declined to do so - but will meet the politicians at a later date.
Mr McClymont said that the meeting had been organised due to the high level of feedback he had received from irate locals about the lack of a direct bus service from parts of Cumbernauld to Glasgow
