What a swell party ... for dogs
While some pubs will provide drinkers’ pets with a bowl of water, and others don’t admit dogs at all, the Old Toll Bar is so dog-friendly it decided to stage a canine get-together on Sunday, July 23 (noon to 5pm), hosted by its downstairs Sunshine Tea Lounge.
It will feature a doggy lunch menu, feee doggy ice lollies, doggy beer, and lots of (doggy) toys to play with.

The event has sparked interest across the southside licensed trade community, for example being flagged up by iconic Pollokshaws bar the Allison Arms, among others.
The menu (for dogs) is a fixed price £2, and features Moo-Moo Rice (sauteed succulent liver chunks in gravy with soft rice), Chickadee Egg (delicious scrambled egg with shredded chicken and gravy) and Rainbow Superfood Salad (sweet carrot and apple salad with liver and egg).
