Glen’s edge home to take spoils in hard fought derby encounter
The game started with both sides making mistakes and Lenzie opened the scoring through Arnott when the visitors gave away a careless penalty.
But Allan Glen’s replied with two well taken tries scored by Kirk and Reilly, both of which were as a result of a great break by young McConnell and some soft Lenzie defence.

Lenzie started the second period well and their forwards were now dominant in every phase of the game.
This improvement allowed Wood to score early in the period and Letford was very unlucky when he lost control of the ball as he crossed the whitewash.
