Hide AdThe visitors doubled their lead in the 25th minute when Gary McMenamin floated in a free kick and Keiran Woods head home.
Cumnock started after the interval on the front foot, and only a brave dive by Murdoch prevented them further extending their lead.
Chris McKnight tried his luck for Cumnock with a free kick, but his dipping effort went over the bar.
The ‘Lok’s attempts to regain parity were severely hampered in the 74th minute when Richie Barr was sent to the pavilion for use of foul and abusive language.

Cumnock played out the remainder of the game for a well deserved three points.
